Not sure if it's the heat or what, but the oaks on my block in the Quapaw Quarter are already dropping leaves. Way too early for July. Had a pile by the curb this morning that I swept up twice this week 😅
So a refresher for myself and anybody else: city yard waste is weekly, the business day after your garbage day. Has to be set out within 5 feet of the curb by 7 am, and NOT in the city garbage cart. Holidays push it back a day. The city has it posted here: Solid Waste - City of Little Rock
Is yours actually running on time for you? Mine's been hit or miss lately, sometimes it's gone by noon and sometimes it sits till the next day.
And what do y'all do with a yard full of oak leaves? Bag them, mulch with the mower, haul them somewhere? Looking for ideas before it gets really bad this fall.
