Where do you send out-of-towners for BBQ? Worth crossing the river?

My brother-in-law and his family are coming down from Ohio in a couple weeks, and he's already told me the one thing he wants is "real Arkansas barbecue." No pressure.

I've got my usual spots here in Little Rock, and Sims is probably first on my list. But I keep hearing people say the best stuff is over in North Little Rock, and with the I-30 bridge work still making a mess of everything I'm trying to decide if it's worth the drive. Lindsey's keeps coming up. Anybody been lately?

A few things I'm trying to figure out:

- Where do you actually take guests, not just where you'd go on a random Tuesday?
- Is the North Little Rock trip worth it, or is there enough good BBQ on this side that I can skip the bridge?
- Anywhere with a decent sit-down room? There will be two kids and one grandmother in the group.

I'm also open to a hole-in-the-wall that doesn't get mentioned much. Those are usually the ones that get my out-of-town family talking for months. Thanks, y'all.
